Bkk w Bff - Day 3

Rise and Shine !! Its our 3rd days in Bangkok! For the past few days we are more focus in visiting instead of shopping. Today will be the day! Its the day for CHATUCHAK weekend market! The place that can makes you shop like an insane woman since almost all the clothes price range between 80-250baht! Average 150-200baht!

Since on this day we just went to Chatuchak market only so there's not much picture taken. You should know that when it comes to shopping, girls get crazy and forget everything lololol

A friendly remind here, go and get a free map at the information counter at the entrance *I guess so that you won't be so lost. Chatuchak market is divide into many sections and YES, WE R LOST. We keep going back the same place OVER-and-OVER again its really wasted our time! And, remember to apply sunblock and put on a cap, the sun really do killing. Drink plenty of water there !

It can says that we've been shopping at there from 11am to 6pm..(it's still not enough!)

Stuff that I bought there..shoes not included here
just can't get enough...

Bkk w Bff - Day 2

Sawadeeeeee!! Woke up at 5.45 in the morning just to get to the Pratunam early market, my friend told me that all the clothes are selling at wholesales price. It took less than 15min to walk from hotel, the sky is still dark when we were on the way going but there are people start opening their stall and you may ask them how to reach to the early market, they will lead you the right one since its pretty near from Berkeley hotel.

TaaaDA! This the early market before 7am, still not many people yet. But once the sky started to get bright, the crowds came. MANY MANY PEOPLE. We didn't manage to buy much since it''s really pack and hot!

While on our way walking back to hotel saw this street-style coffee stall and order a cup of coffee to wake us up. Cheap - If not mistaken is only around 20baht.

Morning BANGKOK!

Had chicken rice for our breakfie (40baht) SIBEH DELICIOUS ! Located at opposite Berkeley hotel that row.

Love this kind of vintage feel restaurant

Back to hotel and get ready.

Visited a few malls in a row, first Siam Paragon we tried out their food at food court. The food court there really amazed me, so much diff from KL and most of the foods taste good too.

This cheesy dumpling not only looks great in poster, it taste even better in mouth!!!

Try out a yogurt from another stall, it has variety of flavors available (greentea, choco, coffee, banana..) we choose the most original taste, not bad though and the price is reasonable and comes with a pretty bottle but couldn't make it as souvenir since it must be finished within 4hours.

After finished our food taste season , we headed to Central World  then walk to MBK. Just a short visit to the both malls since its the same like the mall in KL and the stuff is slightly expensive. If you are looking for branded stuff then this 3 malls are the one for you. We walked to Platinum mall from MBK after that. Had a quick shopping at platinum mall since we need to go to Chocolate ville at 5pm. we rushed back to hotel to put down our stuff and had a quick rest for awhile then off to choco ville.

It's the best to reach Chocolate Ville during sunset. And its suggested to take a Meter-taxi instead of letting the driver simply decide the fare. They can simply say 500baht for the journey while if using taxi meter is only cost around 100-150baht.

Look at it! It is sooooo beautiful~

It slowly getting dark and with lights on really makes it perfect.

After Chocolate ville we back to hotel to get some rest cause the night is still young! We headed to Route66 for second round! We had so much fun experiencing clubbing in foreign country. Things were so different. Its an open-sky / outdoor club. You can go inside too, inside is more fun since the music is louder and much crowded.

Wonderful night we had! :)

Bkk w Bff - Day 1

10th January 2014

Flight was in 3.30pm, we all first gathered at Brenda's house and headed to KLIA at 11am. I slept pretty well the day before yet excited for it. We reached KLIA 2 hours earlier, checked in our luggage and had our brunch in Old town while waiting for depart.

Our passport pickie time (With the Doraemon cover one is mine, got it from doraemon fair for RM9.90).

Ming.

Xuan da Pony.

Caryee and Bren.

Never forgotten to took a nap as well since there's still an hour more before departure.

Self-captured group picture before depart.

The beautiful sky ♥

We had an 'awesome' flight thou, would give a thumb down to the pilot if we were the judges. And so..after 1hour and 40minutes journey, we finally reached Bangkok! The first thing to do is to purchase a local Sim-card! Its available in the airport. There are few choices of line that can be chosen, we choose Dtac- 299baht (7days unlimited online with 100baht free call) and I did called back to Malaysia for like 5-6times and there are still credit balance left. I think every call cost around 50sen for like 20second and the internet will be activated once you place the Sim-card into your phone.

After settle with our phone, we got a taxi from the airport to our hotel. Its a 7-seated car (700baht) and its pretty packed since there were 6 of us and each of us comes with a huge luggage. It took quite long time to reach our hotel in Pratunam since we stucked in the traffic.

We stay in Berkeley hotel and it's quite near to the Platinum Mall, it took around 10minutes walks to reach there and there's a mini night market available every night in front of our hotel. Berkeley hotel has a separated towers, main tower and North-tower). Main tower is just right above the lobby while north-tower you need to cross a mini-bridge at 11th floor, its not really that far no worry.

We booked the north-tower room at first but then the receptionist upgraded us to main-tower luxury room without any extra charge! How lucky we were! However we are required to pay 10000baht as deposit for 2 rooms for 5nights and they will be paying back to us when we check-out.

taaa-da! Girl's room. There are two beds and 2person shared each.

View from our room, spot the traffic?? It is much traffic on Friday since it's TGIF, weekend aren't like this.

The girls are ready for dinner!

We had our first dinner at Condom and cabbage restaurant, took our first tut-tut there and it was a terribly AWESOME ride I've ever try. Five of us got into one tut-tut together (a boy was sick so rest in hotel), it was quite pack to fit 5 persons in it and the tut-tut is very small!  Luckily the journey wasn't that long. The most AWESOME part of the tut-tut was the driver drove very fast, keep cut line (even a big bus/lorry), drive to the opposite road side! and make a u-turning in the middle of the road! wow..what an experience. We scream and shout all the way to the restaurant. Danger yet fun LOL

The environment.

Food-pickie time!
This salad thingy very yummy!!
 Tomyam taste okok
 Pineapple fried rice taste normal
The chicken thingy on left taste good but the salad beef on right taste bad and very spicy.
 Expensive and not tasty dessert.

The condoms that we got when we bill, each got 2 of it.

The meal cost us around 1500baht. Overall the environment and concept for this restaurant is good and creative but the food still needa be improve.

Condom's babies (ewwwww) hahaha
